What culture is your province? (Ex: Nuokaenian, Drunathein, Proto-Watolian, etc.) [You can make up your own!]
Culture: The current culture is faint, with only resident Safran. The culture has remained the ones of the natives though it was slightly influenced by the Proto-Watolian culture of Quarlezutol.

What religion is your province? (OPTIONAL)
Religion: The province is Polytheistic, tolerating foreign religions though the official religion is the native religion of Halledruthaen, "Praepetuus"

What government type is your province? (Bonus points for unique titles and/or systems of government)
Government: The province will temporarly be a dictatorship under the authority of the Lord. The lord would be granted full powers in order to properly form the province then a permanent and stable government will be created.

Why do you want to be the Lord of this province?
Reasons: The main goal followed, as lord would be to establish a commercial crossroad and tradercenter of the PatriamMC world, assuring prosperity and security to both citizens and merchants. Prosperity would be assured by citizen participation in the province such as architecture and local town economies. The provinces borders will be fortified and patrolled to insure security within the province. Fortifications can range from watchtowers to forts. The province would also serve a purpose of vault or worldwide bank, protected by the binary gods.

What is the background and/or history of your province? (Linking to Google Docs is acceptable, the more detail and relation to existing lore the better!)
History: First populated by natives, most of them being fishermen and berry harvesters. The land mostly unused due to the natives living amongst tribes living in teepee tents made from local spruce wood and cow leather.
These locals worshipped two gods forming the "Praepetuus" religion; two gods ensuring certain protection. The first god was the eastern spirit of the mountains, named "Mons," the second god was the sea, called "Fluctus."

The religion involved no sacrificial rituals but instead festivals are held twice a year. During these festivals, the gods would be colored and glorified. These festivals also mark the renuwal of life (birth and death) since the first event takes place on the start of Spring and the second on the start of autumn.
The natives believed that these gods protected from all harm, at the cost of expansion since these gods were restricting their land from any expansion.

This limitation was geographical and lead them to be at a critical disadvantage once tensions rose between the tribe and the province of Hallesoll. These tensions were caused by the discovery of large quantities of emeralds within the mountains of Halledruthaen. Following this discorvery, Hallesollean troops were sent to gather emeralds, upon arrival, a fort was created. Once one of the natives had seen a soldier violating their sacred mountain, harming their god, "Mons". The native would inform the tribe, which escalated the tensions into a war.

As the war began, natives had a numerical advantage over the Hallsollean soldiers; though, this advantage was cut off as soon as the soldiers retreated to their fort, holding the position for days. Natives were massacred. After which, the natives were pushed back once the coast though with no escape, they were decimated, with the bodies placed into mass graves near the Hallesollean fort.
The only remaining natives were in the mountains. A few months passed after the first battle and the mass murder of natives, but one day, the natives of the mountains were about to send themselves against the soldiers and their fort. Before arriving there, a few days prior; tubercolosis had spread amongst the soldiers. As the battle begun and natives arrived, the battle was quickly going on the favour of natives soon following with all Hallsollean troops being murdered. After the battle, they would stay in the fort for a few days to rest, though during this stay they would catch tubercolosis.
Returning to the mountains with the disease; the natives who had fought would end up contaminating the mountain village, ending the two century reign of the native Halledruthaeneans over the province. After the incident Hallesoll didnt't send any more troops, leaving the province abandonned for years with only occasional merchant ships passing by.

Over the years, nomads started reinhabiting the province with the eventual arrival of Safran, seven decades later, his discovery of the land was done after having left the province of Qualezutol. After arriving, Safran located a settlement of nomads, heading towards the settlement; he was apprehended by a nomad farmer, questionning Safran. Follwed by this interaction, the farmer lead Safran to the nomad leader. Having collected some information, the farmer described Safran to his leader; the leader accedpted for Safran to stay and live with the nomads...


(extract from the character application) Safran, to this day, has been living in Halledruthaen for two years, now having turned 31. He has been able to impose himself and earcn the respect of nomads.
