What culture is your province? (Ex: Nuokaenian, Drunathein, Proto-Watolian, etc.) [You can make up your own!]
- Baravian. The Baravian culture is a mixture of Proto-Kallonian and Nuokaenian as a result of close proximity and trade.

What religion is your province? (OPTIONAL)
- Thonist

What government type is your province? (Bonus points for unique titles and/or systems of government)
- Mercantile republic. Land holding merchant families vote for a head patriarch upon the death of the current head patriarch.

Why do you want to be the Lord of this province?
- Tyronthia has access to many natural resources and it's location makes sense for the lore I've written.

What is the background and/or history of your province? (Linking to Google Docs is acceptable, the more detail and relation to existing lore the better!)
- The history of the area we call Tyronthia is rich with conquests, betrayals, and thefts. In 5839 BBE, early Norkinians invaded the province and established a kingdom for themselves. Land was taken from Kallonian nobles and given to Norkinian settler. Fearing the worst, a few Kallonian nobles fled the province to inner Kallonia. Their fears would be realized in 5783 BBE, when a quarter of the Kallonian civilians living in the province were rounded up and executed, called the Great Killing. The reason for the Killing isn't entirely known, but it's believed that part of the reason was to make way for Norkinian settlers as, after the Killing, an exodus out of Norkinia was observed. The Killing sparked a Kallonian revolution against the Norkinian nobles. This enabled the Kallonian nobles, who had been gathering support in inner Kallonia, to come back with their armies. With the combined forces of the revolutionaries and the nobles, the Norkinians were finally pushed out of Tyronthia. However, this would not be the end of troubles endured by the Tyronthians. It wouldn't even be the end of Norkinian threats, as the Norkinians began to raid the province relentlessly. Even worse, Norkinian settlers, unhappy with their Kallonian overlords, rebelled. At this time, a noble by the name of Yorun Unterkamen was elected Consul. Yorun implemented wide ranging military reforms and created a permanent standing army. With this army, Yorun beat back the Norkinian raiders and suppressed the Norkinian revolt. Realizing that the Norkinian settlers were there to stay, Yorun gathered Kallonian and Norkinian intellectuals. Together, they would bring the best of each culture to the table in what was called the Council of Culture. The result of this was the Baravian culture, named after the meeting place of the Council. This new culture would be enforced among all members of society and would stop the fighting between Kallonian natives and Norkinian settlers. This would not stop the Norkinian raiders however, and they began to raid Tyronthia once more. After a particularly bad defeat at the town of Flynders, the standing army of Baravia was destroyed, allowing the raiders to run rampant. This story is continued in my Character Application.
