The people of Tekchotl were once apart of a grand empire, destroyed by disease and fallen. The people of the great empire fled to a new home. Tekchotl held many of these people, hiding them away from the world under it's lush dark tree tops. Despite them being content they fought spiders constantly and could only grow enough food for small tribes. Then word about a province to the west was growing, and the king of their old empire had risen again. Many were skeptical. Their great empire had fallen, this couldn't be. However, as people from this the province came with gifts and ways of protection and growing food cause more and more tribes to turn their allegiance to the Tenno. Some had to see the Tenno first, others were convinced in ways not preferable. In the end. Tekchotl would become part of the growing Hiwotsukeru.
